NEW MEMBERS ORIENTATION
 -MANDATORY
-takes place on the last Saturday of each month.
-for new  members  
-Hosted by Chairwoman and/or Co-Chair
-Will go over membership packet. 
-should last from 60-90 min.
-must have this class before participation in 
 organization .
-one time only


MONTHLY BRIEFING
-MANDATORY
-children are welcomed if you do not have a sitter.
-will take place on the first Saturday of each month 
  unless otherwise stipulated.
-introduction of any new members.
-new members will receive Membership packet and
  badge after 3rd briefing
-theme for the month.
-information on activities schedule for the month.
-members may invite a guest.
-may have a speaker from time to time.
-name of book or discussion times for book club.
-floor open for discussion or questions.
-networking process.
-held at 2118 Packard Ave..

 *THERE ARE ONLY TWO ACTIVITIES THAT ARE MANDATORY.  NEW MEMBERS ORIENTATION, WHICH YOU WILL ONLY TAKE AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP, AND MONTHLY BRIEFINGS.  EVERYTHING ELSE IS ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS.  YOU ATTEND WHAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AND WHAT CAN FIT INTO YOUR SCHEDULE.(so long you meet your one activity quota).  ACTIVITIES ARE SCHEDULED AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH YOUR NORMAL ACTIVITIES, AND TO TEND TO OUR NEEDS WITHOUT HAVING OTHERS IN OUR LIVES FEEL ABANDONED.

The Organization in itself is broken up into two(2) sectors


- HELPING- we are a community based organization which performs functions, activities, and events to enhance our city  by doing different local city-wide activities to serve citizens of any age, color, or creed.

 - SISTERS- we are a Sisterhood bonded by the love of Christ and standing on the foundation of what this organization does throughout the Savannah, Ga. area and what we mean to each other.  We are a family.
